Most people think of the 80/20 rule as it relates to relationships. However, the rule can apply to other areas of your life. For example, when you look at your monthly house budget I bet the mortgage/rent and car notes as individual line items take up a big chunk of your financial obligations. Or even when you think about a holiday dinner the turkey or ham takes up majority of the cooking time by itself. Step back and examine various areas of your life and look at how you can eliminate or reduce investing time in activities or tasks that don’t yield enough results. Most of the things we feel we must spend time doing can be ignored to the next day without any consequence that matters..
