The importance of paying yourself first was mentioned in a previous post. However, sometimes we get so caught up in the amount we should save that we never end of beginning. Whether its savings $5, $10, or $100 dollars just get started. Even $10 dollars a week turns into over $500 at end of a year. I would say that unless you are living in extreme poverty you have $5-10 a week that you probably waste on sub par fast food or groceries that you allow to spoil in your fridge or freezer burn. I challenge you to save an amount every week no matter what and by save I mean literally transfer the money or take some sort of routine action. Do not simply withdraw $500 dollars at end of year and call that saving. Saving is a lifestyle, make it parts of yours.
